Meet The Team

Roger is responsible for managing the delivery phase of The Victoria Park Project. This involves the overall coordination of the project , acting as the Client for construction works,  and managing the on-going evaluation of the project.

Roger provides strategic and operational advice and support to council leaders, Councillors and partners on issues relevant to the role and project. As well as this, he also manages the design and consultant team, and leads all of the procurement work for the project. Roger can be contacted at roger.batho@ashford.gov.uk

 Vicky works closely with the local community to grow opportunities for involvement at Victoria Park. One factor of this is managing a volunteering programme for the park offering many opportunities for people to get involved. She is also setting up a variety of community based activities and events, including workshops in the project hub, additional fitness offerings in the park, and events to celebrate our local community. THIS ROLE HAS NOW FINISHED

Nicola oversaw children's and youth activities in Victoria Park for the three years of the main project. This included opportunities for young people to get involved in music, street art, nature, heritage and other creative activities. She also facilitated opportunities for young people to shape the development of the park and impact how it could be used by young people in the future.
